Financial Manager

Core Purpose

Preparation and
Delivery of monthly
Financial and
Internal reports.
• Prepare all monthly, quarterly and annual
Financial operating reports and provide
Comprehensive analysis.
• Manage cash flow and investments and
weekly cash-flow reporting to Corporate
• Detailed variance analysis and knowledge
of day-to-day sales and service revenue
activities
• Assistance in the sales forecasts and
reporting and overseeing the preparation
of the weekly billing summary for Brand
and or Industry management.
• Assist with Annual budgeting process
Timely and accurate decision
making information provided to the
region and corporate.
Accurate reports sent to
management on time, every time.
Internal regional reporting
completed on a timely basis.
Information provided to sales and
services staff in a timely basis
Taxes • Orchestrate the annual income tax returns
and completion and submission of annual
payroll reconciliation and other benefit
reconciliation and remittance.
• Monthly tax and payroll compliance
• Interact with corporate tax on all tax
related matters
Monthly taxes paid on time.
Cash management • Manage cash flow and investments and
weekly cash-flow reporting to Group
Services Exec
Accurate cash forecasts
Ensure daily cash ups are correctly
performed
• Assist in meeting cash sweep
requirements
Audit / Internal
Controls
• Co-ordinate and prepare where
appropriate all information requested to
meet the auditor requirements
• Ensure that all accounting and reporting
is accurate and in accordance with IFRS
rules, and that appropriate financial
controls are in place and in compliance
with all government regulations.
• Analyse, recommend, and implement
improvements to ensure integrity of
financial controls and reporting to Group
Services
• Assist in improving BBBEE status from a
level 4 to 3
• Analysis of all processes in operations to
compile workflow diagrammes for all the
different operations;
• Evaluating and revising current systems
to increase accuracy, usability and
relevance.
• Review re-costing of standards on new
equipment assembled when required;
• Implementing standard three monthly
forecasting changes through a process of
financial recalculation, implementation of
reporting changes, and the involvement of
other functions.

Payroll and benefits • Review monthly payroll
• Review employment incentives
Payroll payments made on time,
every time.
Facilities • Ensure that all services provided in
respect of facilities is managed and paid
Reporting to Group Exec that
reviews are completed timely and
accurately.
Management / MD
Support
• Management of the general office and
day-to-day activities of the accounting
team and office staff.
• Providing leadership, support and
guidance to the office staff
• Provide analytic support for Regional
business decisions.
• Provide on going fact-based support to
Regional services and sales organizations
including business analysis, forecasting,
Performance reviews and goals in
People Soft for all reporting staff.
Monitoring of staff performance
for all direct reports and coaching
to maximize staff effectiveness.
